Acer Aspire 5100 Drivers

Just make sure to download the vista drivers and not the xp drivers. Similar entries alright I recently bought a acer aspire that came pre installed with vista on it so all drivers are vista compatible and all the drivers are the newest and updated. Before you start use the acer proprietary recovery tool to make a backup of the the oem windows xp operating system. Insert the first cd dvd that you created with the acer backup recovery tool and reboot. Although ubuntu and kubuntu run excellent and with full driver support all except for acer's orbicam and that is in developement phase from what I can find on it. Can anyone help neutral I would love to get all the bit drivers for xp. They are using telus software for adsl and when they attempt to install the software it searches for the ethernet controller and doesn't find the drivers. My friend will have to drive almost hours to get it to the future shop to get them to install the drivers and i'd rather not subject her to that. It should be on acer's website I recommend you download andarchive everything you can get from their site though thisapp might also be on one of the cds they sent to you. I tried to turn it on and it went to the white screen with the acer logo but after a minute it went to a black screen that said things like media.
